"I have always wanted to re-learn how to play piano and finally decided to act on it. When I looked at lessons or books on my own, they never seemed geared to a 30-something. Studious helped match me with a teacher who has challenged me and made me feel comfortable learning a new skill. It was also an incredibly easy and personalized process. I have been taking lessons for six months and am surprised by how much I've grown."

Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, music teachers were losing students while parents and kids were struggling as schools shut down. Studious came out of this time as a way to help teachers, parents, and students address these challenges with what we know to be the deep reservoir of strength and joy that is music.
At Studious, you can sign up for music lessons or just a single coaching session. Let us know what you're looking for and we'll make a personalized match for you. If you aren't sure what you're looking for, that's OK, too. We'd be glad to help you figure that out.
Don's journey in music began with group piano lessons at a community center at the age of five. After years of study, he started his own private piano studio during high school, and subbed for other teachers during college. The years he spent teaching were hugely important to his own development as a musician.
Studious is our small way of helping musicians along their own journeys with music, both learning and teaching. We hope you’ll get started on your journey today.
